Assistant Warehouse Manager

OVERVIEW: 

Antelope’s Assistant Warehouse Manager, based out of Reno, NV, is a key position for the success of the Diggin' Your Dog and Super Snout's facility and daily operations. The Assistant Warehouse Manager’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to: supervising personnel and overseeing warehouse operations, production and food safety compliance.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse Management: 

● Responsible for facility key; “keyholder” 

● Manage, motivate and encourage employee development while assessing the job performance of warehouse personnel.

● Responsible for making strategic decisions within the warehouse to achieve production and company goals.

● Oversee the company brand, materials, and physical workspace to meet and exceed company standards, quality control measures, and sanitation requirements.

● Administer a schedule of bi-weekly safety and NASC quality control meetings for warehouse personnel. 

● Enforce and maintain the PCQI certification to uphold NASC requirements for compliance in the following areas: Quality Assurance, Food Safety Plan, Hazard Analysis, Preventative Controls, adherence to the Flow Diagram, and strict enforcement of Recall Procedures. 


Warehouse Production & Quality Control

● Submit all label or product change forms, and update the new labels in corresponding folders. Update all information in NAERS. 

● Manage and oversee production lead and warehouse personal

● Create and execute all food safety plans 

● Create, update and maintain all production documentation

● Create, update and maintain all receiving documentation and corresponding SOPs.

● Check for Quality Assurance on all COAs and skip-lot testing for AQL limits/acceptable variances for all Antelope brands.

● Responsible for posting all COAs in compliance to federal and state regulations.

● Create a skip lot testing calendar and accurately document retention test results.

● Supervise proper receiving and shipping procedures dictated by the corresponding SOPs

● Regulate retention sampling and testing protocol of finished product and raw material

● Administer corrective actions when a deviation/OOS from an SOP is observed.

● Manage and organize record logs and checklists for compliance.

● Flexible in performing any job task required dictated by the needs of the company to achieve daily goals.

● Operate forklift, as needed
