OVERVIEW:
Antelope is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Marketing Communications Associate to support world-class storytelling and engagement across our brand portfolio. This role is central to maintaining brand identity, building customer loyalty, and driving revenue success through email marketing, ambassador/influencer programs, and social media support. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, loves pets, and brings expertise in email marketing and an intuitive grasp of social media culture to a fast-growing startup.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Email Marketing
Build and deploy email campaigns/month across all brands, ensuring on-time delivery, brand accuracy, and consistent voice.
Maintain and optimize automated email flows for Antelope’s family of brands.
Partner with Marketing Manager to execute A/B testing on email campaigns.
Pull monthly/quarterly reports highlighting trends, wins, and optimization opportunities. Execute on insights to improve future flows and campaigns.
Ensure segmented lists are maintained and work with ecommerce team to grow engaged contact lists.
Partner with creative team to deliver assets on time.
Ambassador & Influencer Support
Track ambassador content and compile monthly reports.
Execute day-to-day communication with ambassadors to meet posting targets across brands.
Support recruitment and onboarding of new ambassadors.
Organize/tag UGC and influencer content for reuse.
Social Media Support
Assist with scheduling content across all brand channels with accurate tagging, captions, and links.
Support community management by responding to comments and DMs.
Track and report on social performance data.
Cross-Functional Marketing Support
Support planning and execution for Global Pet Expo and SuperZoo.
Identify process improvements to increase campaign, ambassador, and reporting efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or digital content (internships considered).
Strong hands-on email marketing experience – from campaign build and segmentation to performance optimization.
Social media savvy with a genuine interest in online communities, storytelling, and digital engagement.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
Analytical and growth-minded, with a commitment to ongoing learning and optimizing performance.
Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented with a passion for brand voice consistency.
Resourceful, scrappy, and able to thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth startup.
Passion for entrepreneurship, consumer brands, and (of course) pets!
Experience with Klayivo or similar email marketing platform strongly preferred.
Must love dogs or cats (& treats!).
